to the users accounts. The roles help to restrict access to the
integrated application or Visual Guard
Console. |

The roles can be segregated into two

In case you have not been assigned the
default role, you will be able to access the integrated application
but access to VG Console will not be allowed. |

Master
Administrator |
This
user can access every feature on the console
|
|
Developer |
This
type of user can manage users, add or delete applications. They can
also create new permissions, new permissions sets, new
roles.
This
user cannot manage the parameters of the repository nor can he
delete the content of a repository.

User
Administrator |
This
user can manage users and grant them roles. He can also manage
permission sets.
This
user cannot view information about the permissions, nor can he edit
permissions, application information or technical actions.
|
|
Restricted User
Administrator |
This
user can manage user and role in a given application
|
|
Auditor |
This
user can access the repository in read only mode, he can also read
the log and print the report.
|
|
Restricted
Auditor |
This
user has same privilege as the auditor except that his access is
limited to single application
|
