Adds the specified user to the specified roles.

Parameters

account
Type: System.Security.PrincipalNTAccount
The Windows account to add to the specified role.
roleNames
Type: SystemString
A string array of roles to add the specified user name to.
applicationId
Type: SystemGuid
The code of the application where you can find the specified roles.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullExceptionroleNames is null of one of the roles in roleNames is null.

ArgumentException One of the roles specified in roleNames is an empty string or contains invalid chars ('\', '/', '?', '*', '%', ';', ''', '"', ':', '|', '[', ']', '+', '=', ',').

One of the roles was not found in the repository.

account was not declared in the repository.

applicationId was not found in the repository.
SecurityExceptionThe current user has not enough privileges to use Membership API. The Membership access level of the application must be sufficient to allows this action or the 'Membership Manager' role must be granted to the user by using the Visual Guard console.
