How to get a License
- Download Visual Guard Code Project Edition here
- Install VG CPE
- Open VG CPE Console
- Create a repository
- Click on Request a Serial Number
- Enter your Code Project Member Code in Additional Information
- Download your key when you receive the confirmation by email
Who can get Visual Guard Community Edition?
The use of Visual Guard Code Project Edition (VGCPE) is restricted to Code Project members.
- VGCPE licenses are provided for FREE to all Code Project members
(a license stands for a VG Repository, hosting the security information).
- VGCPE licenses are not limited in terms of user accounts or applications.
- Visual Guard Code Project Edition (VGCPE) licenses are not limited in time. Software keys are valid for a year and will be renewed each year.
- Each Code Project member can request up to 5 free licenses for development/testing/production environments.
- Code Project members can also get free updates (minor and major), for as long as the partnership remains effective with Novalys.
Limitations
- Free licenses do not come with professional services (Consulting or Technical Support).
Code Project members can purchase such services at a discounted rate.
- If the requirements of a given project are not compatible with the VGCPE features, Code Project members can purchase commercial versions of Visual Guard at a discounted rate. More details about the commercial versions are available on this page.
